Core feature

Turn a prompt into a full song, in minutes

Describe the vibe, the story, or the genre. MixGenie writes the lyrics, generates the vocals, and arranges the music. You get a finished MP3 you can download, share, or use as the seed for your next iteration.

Why most "AI song" tools stop short

Most tools output a 30-second loop, or a beat with no vocals, or vocals without a real chord progression. MixGenie generates a complete track — intro, verses, chorus, bridge, outro — with lyrics that actually match the theme and vocals that sit in the mix.

How it works

  1. Write a one-line prompt
"An 80s synth-pop anthem about riding a motorbike through Tokyo at night, in the spirit of Chvrches, driving at 128 BPM." That's it.
  2. MixGenie writes the brief
A style-synthesis prompt expands your line into a Mureka-ready spec: BPM, key, instrumentation, mood arc, vocal timbre, section structure.
  3. Generation runs
Free-tier jobs go through a priority queue so pro users don't block hobbyists and vice versa. First song is usually ready in under 3 minutes.
  4. You review + iterate
Play it in the built-in player. Tweak the prompt, regenerate. Every generation costs one credit; free users get credits on signup and monthly refresh.

Highlights

Real songs, not loops

Intro / verse / chorus / bridge / outro. Not a 30-second sample on repeat.

Vocals that sit right

The vocal is generated at the same time as the arrangement — pitch, timing, and delivery match the track's energy.

Style-safe by default

Prompts inspired by artists you love, without cloning their voice or lyrics. Fresh IP every render.

Downloadable MP3

Every finished song downloads cleanly. Signed URLs auto-refresh so old songs never break links.

"MixGenie runs on the same shared platform behind pictools.ai, ghostnews and our production sites — the same PromptLab layer, the same auth, the same billing. Music generation itself is powered by Mureka's music models, orchestrated through our two-tier priority queue."

FAQ

How long does one song take?

First render is usually 2–4 minutes on the free tier; paid credits go through the paid queue with lower wait times during peak load.

Can I use the songs commercially?

You own the output of every song you generate, subject to the terms of service. See /terms for the full license.

What genres does it handle?

Everything Mureka supports — pop, rock, electronic, hip-hop, classical, ambient, folk, jazz, cinematic scores. If your prompt names a style it recognises, it renders it.

Can it clone a specific artist's voice?

No. Vocal generation is prompt-driven; we deliberately do not offer voice cloning. Prompts inspired by an artist produce original vocals in a similar style, not the artist's actual voice.

Is there a free tier?

Yes — every account gets free credits on signup and monthly refresh. Only pay when you want more volume; see /pricing.
