Karaoke video studio

Word-accurate karaoke videos, straight from your song

Every MixGenie song can be turned into a shareable vertical video: your cover art on top of an animated background, with karaoke-style lyrics that light up in perfect sync — word by word — as the track plays.

Lyric videos are usually wrong

Most "AI karaoke" tools estimate line timing and drift on every second chorus. MixGenie's videos use the exact per-word timing that the vocal generator returned — so every syllable lights up on the beat it's actually sung, not two seconds late.

How it works

  1. Pick the song
Any song in your library — the ones you generated in MixGenie, or a reference-audio track you re-uploaded.
  2. Pick a background
Six animated background styles — aurora, radial spectrum, vaporwave, neon tunnel, kaleidoscope, constellations — plus a random slot.
  3. Pick the aspect ratio
    9:16 (Reels/TikTok/Shorts), 16:9 (YouTube), or 1:1 (Instagram grid). One-click switch, no re-render.
  4. Render + download
Video renders in your browser via a real-time canvas. Download the finished MP4/WebM and share it.

Highlights

Word-accurate sync

Every word lights up on the beat the vocal generator sang it. Line-by-line timing is the fallback; per-word is the default.

Client-side render

The video is composed in your browser — no server render queue, no watermark you didn't opt into. Instant download when it's done.

Six background styles + random

Aurora waves, vaporwave sunset, radial spectrum, neon tunnel, kaleidoscope, constellations — plus a random slot for variety.

Optional watermark

The mixgenie.ai wordmark is a subtle top-right chip you can leave on or turn off in one click.

"The karaoke video path uses Mureka's per-word timing (lyrics_sections) so the sung/unsung colour split is measured, not estimated. Ghosting artefacts from earlier char-cutoff approaches are gone."

FAQ

Is it really word-accurate?

Yes. The vocal generator returns per-word timestamps; the video renderer paints each word based on the audio clock, not a fixed offset.

Can I use my own cover image?

Yes — upload a custom cover from your device or camera, and it replaces the AI-generated one in the video.

What formats can I download?

WebM by default (accepted by TikTok/Reels/Shorts/YouTube), with MP4 export in progress.
