How it works

From an idea to a finished song, in four steps.

You don't need a DAW, a plugin chain, or even a good voice memo. If you can describe a song in one sentence, MixGenie can make it. Here's the full flow.

  1. Sign up (free)
Email, Google, or one-tap signup. Free credits appear immediately — no card required. Your account is one login across web, PWA, and the Android beta.
  2. Describe the song
Write a one-line prompt: "an 80s synth-pop anthem about riding through Tokyo at night." Or upload a reference clip. Or drop a photo. All three feed the same generator.
  3. Generate
One credit per song. Free-tier jobs run through the free priority queue; paid credits skip the line. First render is usually ready in 2–4 minutes.
  4. Refine
Play, review, iterate. Edit the lyrics and regenerate the vocals in place — no extra credit for lyric-only tweaks. Regenerate the cover if it doesn't fit.
  5. Wrap it into a video
Open the karaoke video studio. Pick 9:16 (Reels/TikTok/Shorts), 16:9 (YouTube), or 1:1. Pick a background style. Render — it's composed in your browser, no server queue.
  6. Download or share
Download the MP3, the cover, and the video. Every asset is yours — no royalty split, no attribution required.

Beyond the basics

Every path to a song, laid out

Text is the fastest. Reference audio is the most accurate. Image is the most creative. Try each — they combine.

Just a prompt

The 90-second path. One line → one song. Best for when you know the vibe you want but not exactly how to get there.

Prompt + reference

Upload a snippet of a song you love. MixGenie captures its style; your prompt steers the story. License-safe — the output is fully original.

Photo → song

Upload or snap a photo. Vision AI writes the brief for you. Best for when words alone don't quite capture the feel.

Bring your own lyrics

Paste your own lyric sheet into the generator. MixGenie handles the vocals and arrangement — you keep the words.
