Privacy policy

Short version: we collect the minimum needed to run your account and generate songs. We don't train on your content. Your songs, prompts, and references are yours; we don't sell them or share them with third parties beyond the sub-processors listed below.

What we collect

  • Account data — email, name (if provided), auth provider (native / Google), and language preference.
  • Song data — the prompts you write, reference audio you upload, generated lyrics, vocals, arrangements, and cover art. Stored in your library so you can find them again.
  • Usage data — anonymous counts (credits spent, generations run) for billing and product improvement. IP address is anonymised in analytics.
  • Billing data — handled by Stripe. We store the Stripe customer ID and subscription state; we do not store card numbers.

What we do NOT do

  • We do not train MixGenie or any other AI on your prompts, references, or generated songs.
  • We do not sell your data to advertisers or data brokers.
  • We do not share your content with third parties beyond the sub-processors below (Stripe, AWS, Mureka, PromptLab), each strictly for delivering the service.

Sub-processors

  • AWS (eu-west-1, Ireland) — hosting, storage, email delivery.
  • Stripe — payments, subscription management.
  • Mureka — the music generation model behind MixGenie song and instrumental output.
  • PromptLab (Verna Labs) — routes AI prompts to the underlying models.
  • AWS Cognito — authentication (email/password + Google).
  • Google Analytics 4 — anonymised usage analytics, gated behind cookie consent.

Your rights

You can access, export, or delete your account and content from the app's account settings. Deletion removes your account, songs, and covers within 30 days; non-personal aggregates (usage counts) may be retained. You have the right under GDPR/UK-GDPR/CCPA to request a copy of your data or its deletion. Email hello@mixgenie.ai.

Cookies

MixGenie uses functional cookies (session, cart-of-credits, language) that are strictly necessary to run the app. Google Analytics loads only after you accept the cookie banner. See the banner controls on any page to change your choice later.
