Terms of service

Short version: you own the songs you generate, subject to the rules below. Don't use MixGenie to impersonate real people or generate content targeting minors. Cancel any time; free credits are free forever.

Your account

You must be 13 or older to use MixGenie. You are responsible for keeping your account secure. Contact hello@mixgenie.ai if you believe your account has been compromised.

Content you own

You own the songs, cover art, and videos you generate through MixGenie. You may use them for personal or commercial purposes without royalty or attribution, subject to the restrictions below.

Content you can't create

  • Impersonation of real people (voice, name, likeness) without their consent.
  • Sexual content involving minors (any depiction of a real or fictional minor in sexual context).
  • Content that promotes violence against people or groups on the basis of race, religion, gender, sexuality, disability, or nationality.
  • Content that infringes third-party copyright — reference-audio input from a copyrighted track is allowed for personal inspiration; commercial release of an obvious derivative work is not.

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate these rules.

Billing

  • Free credits refresh monthly and are not transferable.
  • Paid credit packs never expire.
  • Monthly subscriptions renew until cancelled. Cancel any time in the app; you keep subscription features until the end of the current billing period. No pro-rated refunds for partial months.
  • Refunds outside those terms are handled on a case-by-case basis — email us.

Service availability

MixGenie is provided as-is. We aim for high uptime but do not guarantee 100% availability. Scheduled maintenance and third-party outages (Mureka, AWS, Stripe) can affect the service.

Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim related to MixGenie is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes are announced in-app and by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that date means you accept the updated terms.
